HT & Intimate Relationships
Did you know that human trafficking rarely happens through being kidnapped by a stranger? Most trafficking victims are exploited by someone they know, trust, and love, and for 1 in 3 victims that someone is an intimate partner. We will explore and discuss the link between intimate partner violence and human trafficking, and how communities can support survivors and take proactive steps to address barriers.
Public Policy & Legislation
In this lunch & learn, we break down the legislative landscape around human trafficking in Tennessee. We explore current counter-trafficking laws and how the Tennessee Counter-Trafficking Alliance (TCTA) is involved in influencing state-level legislation that protects survivors and strengthens prevention efforts.
