We believe in the power of community.
As the single point of contact for east TN, we bring service providers and community agencies together to address the needs of individuals experiencing trafficking by collaborating on active cases, sharing intelligence and resources, ensuring victims are connected to necessary services, and providing free specialized training. Our ability to strengthen the movement to end human trafficking and grow our capacity to serve survivors comes directly from collaboration with our community.
how we Collaborate
Tennessee Counter-Trafficking Alliance (TCTA) is a strategic partnership between three non-governmental organizations that provide regional hubs for victim response and the coordination of survivor services in West, Middle and East TN. This regional-point-of-contact structure was established in 2016 by Governer Haslam and since the CCAHT has served as the regional point of contact for the 33 counties in East Tennessee.
By engaging in collaborative efforts across the state and bringing together members of the East TN community through multi-disciplinary efforts, we are able to leverage and exchange resources and share ideas on how we can meet the complex needs of individuals impacted by human trafficking. The CCAHT oversees collaborative efforts that include Free Knox Kids, 423 Unsilenced, and the East TN HT Law Enforcement Task Force. We are also members of the TN State Human Trafficking Council and the Federal HHS Region 4 Human Trafficking Working Group.
