Brittany Thompson joined the CCAHT team in July 2022 as the Director of Adult Services. She has over 10 year of experience in survivor services, serving both domestic and sexual violence. Brittany spent the last 8 years at the Sexual Assault Center of East Tennessee in a variety of roles including advocacy, education, sexual assault response team, and most recently supervising the center and programming. She has her bachelors in Political Science from the University of Tennessee and her graduate degree in Mental Health Counseling from Lincoln Memorial University.
Brittany was born in Texas but raised in Jefferson County, TN “Jeffco”. She is passionate about all survivor services and creating societal change within her community. In Brittany’s spare time, she can be found with her two young kids, two adorable doggos, and loving husband camping / boating / or doing anything outside! Sunshine is a driving factor of her personality and hibernates as much as possible during dark, cold winters.
