Lisa joined the CCAHT team in September 2017 after interning while in school. She graduated from the College of Social Work at The University of Tennessee with her MSSW and certificate in Human Services Management. Before earning her Master’s degree, Lisa worked at the Sexual Assault Center of East Tennessee (SACET) as an advocate and on the crisis line. She developed crucial skills that have proved fruitful to this day. Lisa joins the CCAHT team now as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). She began working at CCAHT as Program Coordinator and from there transitioned into the Director of Youth Services role.

Lisa was born in Knoxville and raised in Powell. Growing up in East Tennessee cultivated her love for K-town and for the members of the Knoxville community. She is passionate about raising awareness surrounding human trafficking and helping others become involved with anti-trafficking efforts. Lisa volunteers with the jr. high students at her church and enjoys helping her students understand the importance of empathy and compassion for others.

When Lisa is not working, she can be found playing with her pups, reading a good book, or sipping a hot cup of tea. You may even find her behind the lenses of an instant camera trying to capture a perfect polaroid.
